Emma Makes is the brainchild of Emma McCleary, print and vintage textile lover and another of our fantastic March sponsors – aren’t we lucky? From her home Studio in Featherston, Emma designs and hand crafts all of her creations from start to finish, putting her fine arts degree to good use.
We first discovered Emma at the very beginning of The Bread and Butter Letter, when we saw her Witty Pencils and Roman Sandal Notebooks at Kraft Bomb. It was love at first sight and we knew straight away we had to sell them in store. Immediately.
After talking to Emma we soon discovered her skills went far beyond making fantastic stationary. Like us, Emma has a passion for vintage textiles and has utilised this passion, along with her killer sewing skills, to make gorgeous bags, purses and toys.
Emma is forever thinking of new and inventive ways to produce wonderful vintage inspired designs and, with the cooler weather soon to be setting in Emma Makes has some new products available, especially designed to warm the cockles of your heart.
