This Tuesday night myself, Rose, Kim and Jasmine stepped out for a night of frivolity. We love our B.A.B.L ladies and we wanted to show them how much we appreciate everything they do to help Rose and I, so we decided to take them out for a ‘Girls Night’.

Unfortunately this Girls Night, also happened to coincide with Jasmine’s last week with us, she is flying out to Seattle to live tomorrow, so it was a somewhat bitter sweet affair. Jazz has been with us from the very beginning of B.A.B.L, first as a supplier and then as part of the shop team. Seeing as it was going to be Jazz’s last week we thought it was only fit that she choose the nights adventure, she had her heart set on Burger’s from her favorite burger joint, Burger Queen in Mt Albert. So we made it happen!

PART 1 : SHENANIGANS IN THE SHOP

The Girls Night began in the shop, helping/hindering Kim while she closed up for the night, and just generally mucking about.

PART 2: BURGER QUEEN

This place may not look like much from the outside but it is fantastic, the variety of burgers will rival any other burger going out there, I promise you.

PART 3: MT ALBERT

We took our burgers up Mount Albert to enjoy the view on such a clear evening. It was beautiful. And, wholly molly were those burgers good!! Plus, they are huge!

PART 4: MOMO TEA

On the way to Burger Queen we neared Momo Tea and instantaneously decided we would have to go there after we had devoured our burgers. After the epic size of the burgers we  thankfully had just enough room left to have a Momo Tea treat to finish the evening off.

Rose and I have decided that we will be having a B.A.B.L girls night once every month to make sure our ladies know how much we value them. We’re thinking the next outing might be to the Pheonix Salon to get pampered.

We will miss you Jazz, undeniably so, but we are so proud that you decided to take this leap of faith and embark on an adventure outside of your comfort zone. We love you and wish you all the best for the future (and expect weekly updates!).
