Are you an Instagram user? I like using Instagram to catch small moments in everyday life, almost like a little visual diary. I was always a bit anti smartphones, until I actually got one, and then I realised being able to take photos and share them so easily with your friends and family is amazing! In terms of running B.A.B.L, being able to check emails while on the go is a must! I don’t think I would get half as much done in a day without using my smartphone.
Thankfully with Smartphones growing in popularity they are getting cheaper and cheaper and the best news is Android (basically any smartphone which isn’t an iPhone is run by this program) now has pretty much every application an iPhone does so they are becoming more an more compatible with each other. I think that is enough of a technology rant for today…

At the beginning of the year Rose and I were slaving away on the renovations for the shop along with our lovely helpers. Here are some instagram snaps from 2 days on the job.

INSTAGRAM SNAPSHOTS

This day was day 1 of the first painting day of the center piece (or Mr Tug as I like to call him, I think it looks like a tug boat when assembled…). After a whole day of stripping the 2 pieces down and sanding, sanding sanding being able to paint was a nice change.

Here are some snaps I took when we began installing everything in store. There was a lot to do! Bring in the finished centre piece, install the shelves and work bench on the left hand wall and put up all of the crates we had just finished staining.

And here we have the shop today! (Well about 2 weeks ago actually). Quite a transformation, don’t you think?
